winning several European body-building championships. Arnold Schwarzenegger

came to Hollywood's attention in the documentary Pumping Iron (1977)
and starred in Conan the Barbarian (1982), The Terminator (1984),
its sequel,
Terminator
2: Judgment Day (1991), the third chapter of the trilogy Terminator
3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Eraser (1996), Predator, Twins,
End of Days, The 6th Day, Collateral Damage and many more. In 2003 he was
voted Governor of the State of California, thus moving his career from sport

was attacked by Arab Americans for its depiction of Middle Easterners as homicidal,
religious zealots. The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee was one of
four groups to hold a protest at a Washington theater when the action film opened;
a boycott of the movie was called, as well as a ban of its distribution in 54
Arab and Muslim countries. Despite the boycott and the intense controversy,
the film was one of the top money-makers of 1994, earning more than $150 million.
