Facts about Gillian Anderson:
Anderson will be appearing in What The Night
Is For when it opens in London's Theatreland this November 2002, and she will
play a woman whose adultery makes her question the validity of her marriage.
Unlike most of the American actors who cross
the pond in search of validation and publicity by appearing in British plays,
she actually trained as a stage actress which should make this play more of
a must-see.
THE X-FILES (1993) stunner, Gillian Anderson,
has sparked reports about her sexuality - after cameras caught her kissing lesbian
comic Ellen DeGeneres.
As a child, Gillian showed a flair for drama
but was more of a tomboy who harbored dreams of becoming a marine Biologist
than the dream of movie stardom.
Gillian Anderson is so eager to direct her first
film, she's put up all her own cash to do it.
X-FILES star Gillian Anderson is ready for a
new man in her life - and her daughter is begging her for a sibling.
Gillian is allergic to cats and on one episode
the FX creators had to make a mechanical cat for Scully to tangle with.
She tried to glue her high school's front door
shut a few days before the senior graduation and got arrested for it.
Anderson's fame has reached the point where it's
downright dangerous: ten thousand fans showed up at a mall in Australia where
Anderson was on-hand to sign copies of an X-FILES video. Two people were rushed
to the hospital and dozens were treated for hyperventilation when the crowd
surged toward the stage.
