Claudia Schiffer was discovered in Germany by a talent scout while she was dancing in a nightclub. Schiffer has appeared on the cover of dozens of magazines and modeled for companies such as Chanel and Guess. She has also appeared in several films, including Catwalk (1995), Pret-a-Porter (1994), and The Blackout (1997). She and fellow models Elle Macpherson, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington opened the restaurant/bar, Fashion Café in New York in 1995 but she pulled out of the venture in 1998.
